eg: That’s the lot you want.

2.（一）组，群，批，套

eg: The last lot of guests have arrived at the party.

3. 待售商品；（尤指）拍卖品

eg: I was attracted by lot 10, a beautiful blue and white porcelain.

我被十号拍卖品，一个漂亮的青花瓷给吸引了。

4.（作某种用途的）一块地，场地

eg: My mother wants to grow some vegetables on this vacant lot.

5. 命运；生活状况
