My stomach leads the way when I'm travelling, so I think I've eaten quite a few interesting foreign foods, but by far, the most mind blowing has been 黒ゴマアイス, or "black sesame ice cream", which I ate in Japan. You put aside your apprehensions for a moment, spoon a bit of it into your mouth, and you realize you're not the same person you were a second before. You feel... illuminated. (OK, maybe not, but maybe just a little less prone to quick judgment.)

It most definitely is Butter chicken. An Indian dish of chicken in a mildly spiced curry sauce.. Oh my goddess, actually I've just had one! Whenever I go to an Indian restaurant I order the same goddamn dish my friends & family keeps asking me to just try something else for heaven's sake, but the taste is so damn addictive, rich and unique it brainwash you -or me actually- into thinking that it just can't get any better.. Especially when served with Indian cheese stuffed Naan, first time I tried it in Thailand I asked the waiter "are you sure you don't put drugs in these?"
